Our History Eve’s story
The story behind the success.
Eve Taylor started her career in the beauty industry as a beauty therapist and quickly became fascinated by the ancient practice of Aromatherapy. Eve became an expert in her craft and developed her own range of pre-blended aromatherapy oils along with
specific treatment methods and techniques.
These techniques have since been adopted by many as the original industry standard for professional aromatherapy and are now taught extensively throughout the world. Her original aromatherapy blends still provide both professional therapists and their
clients with outstanding results.
Eve founded the Eve Taylor business in London in 1963 and still works in the business to this day along with her sons. She is an inspiration to us all.
This achievement was recognised in 2008 when Eve was awarded an O.B.E (Officer of the British Empire) by Her Majesty the Queen of England for her contribution to the profession and industry.
Timeline
1963
Eve Taylor establishes Eve Taylor Beauty Preparations Limited and produces her first five facial blends, now known as Aromatic Serums.
1964
Eve opens her first beauty salon in Lee Green, London.
1968
The brand changes its name to Eve Taylor (London) Limited.
1970
Eve formally launches the Clinical Aromatherapy Treatment technique and begins teaching it extensively around the UK.
1980
The brand exhibits at Cosmoprof Asia, leading to the appointment of its first international distributor.
1980
The company relocates from South East London to Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
1991
Eve is appointed Chairwoman of BABTAC (British Association of beauty Therapy and Cosmetology)
2005
Responding to client demand, Eve Taylor Skincare launches.
2008
Eve receives the OBE at Buckingham Palace.
2013
Clear Cleanse is launched, which remains the fastest selling launch to date.
2017
The company unveils its new rebrand. Eve is honoured with the ‘Outstanding Contribution Award’ at the Women Leader Awards 2017
2021
The company heavily invests in increasing its manufacturing facility with state of the art equipment.
